Dr. Atef Masak
DDS
Dr. Masak has wanted to be a dentist since childhood and loves combining his desire to help others with his understanding of materials and mechanics to give his patients the best teeth they can have. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Masak received his dental degree from Ain Shams University in 2008.
After graduation, he worked as a dentist for several years in Cairo until he met his wife, Lauren, and moved to her home state of Tennessee in 2013. After a few years of work and adjusting to life in the United States, Dr. Masak was admitted to the International Dentist Program at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. At UW he received the American College of Dentistry Ferrier Memorial Prize, awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in single tooth restorations and a strong ethical foundation. While in Seattle, Dr. Masak and his family fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and decided to remain in the area.
After receiving his DDS from UW, he worked on the Oregon Coast then deciding he was ready to move toward ownership he purchased Dr. Weinstein’s wonderful practice and relocated to Eugene. Dr. Masak is grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community and office. In his free time, Dr. Masak enjoys working with tools and fixing things around the house with his three boys, Elijah, Micah, and Judah.
